the Aaahh (a communal experiential approach to communication and self-realization)
Intellectual stuff about the Aaahh The Aaahh puts Trust, Fidelity and Commitment into our relationships on a new and very different level. Communication and Connectedness are the main priorities of the Aaahh Education approach. The Aaahh and its practices are an intimately personal reality - the feeling of being connected and belonging to an extended family. According to the Aaahh, quality communication and meaning come primarily from people living effectively in community. Many, in rich countries, who suffer from depression or other emotional disorders, may need a different psychology – a moral psychology of this very moment. Such a psychology would enable you and I, while communicating and interacting, to feel a certain "something" which unites and bonds us. This enabling already allows us to feel "this certain something" within our established relationships, and our extended family as a whole. The dynamics of such a psychology may require new tools, ethical communication tools, to be effective in the flow taking place between us. The Aaahh communication approach can provide this. This approach is about more meaningful communication and bonding in our relationships. The Aaahh is more applicable to those of us who feel the need to put this issue on the "front burner", as an absolute priority. For those of us with this need, communication and relationships are the axis around which everything else revolves.
We seek to reach our full potential and become our own person within the Aaahh communal framework. We aim to reduce fragmented information and clutter in our communications. There is more to life than being defined mainly by what we own. As long as we can have some basic accommodation and nourishing food, our bottom line and main priority need not be constant talk of the economy, but rather the quality of our communication and relationships. This creates a different culture, of which, some of us are very much in need. In this rich country, constantly focusing our energies mainly on the material realm misses the essence of what life is about. In the Aaahh, healing happens freely by a mutual offering of sharing and giving energies, without the need for money exchanges. This way of living can still be found with some indigenous and tribal peoples. When we, within our friendships or the larger scope of life, can put the money equation in a different light, it often brings a fundamental change in communication, in our friendships, and in our outlook on life. For some, this is a fundamental issue to address within ourselves and our relationships. The Aaahh is a democratic, decentralized association. Our members learn to accommodate each other, irrespective of having different beliefs and practices, or not having a belief. This association encourages Aaahh groups to get involved in voluntary work in the larger community. This model is set, materially and psychologically, in line with the climate change imperative we face. It is based on principles of ecology and community spirituality. We share the concern of the climate imperative and the need to modify our lifestyles accordingly. In addition, the social skills necessary to maintain community will be essential tools to enable our physical survival at the end of the petrochemical era, now rapidly approaching. All this
can be achieved through: The synergy
between our 3 main practices, given below, help to create community and attain
our aim without the need for any great intellectual understanding. Naturally,
our heartfelt intentions of being open and communicative are enough to carry us
a long, long way when we are keen to grow and learn. If we can meaningfully
bond and are not bent upon willfully creating substantial tension and conflicts
with other members, we don't need to take up Aaahh practices to help us in our
relationships. Our good and sound intentions will do nicely. ~~~~~~~~~~ The 3 Alignment Techniques.
How the Aaahh works: The Aaahh seeks to establish small independent communities of caring people,
living and sharing as an extended family. Community ("common unity"),
and the sense of belonging, does not mean we huddle together all the time,
abandoning our personal psychological spaces. It means finding a balance
between entrenched "dis-eased" individualism and the herd mentality.
We need something that can take care
of the powerful psychological details that affect our larger behavioral
picture and more so communication in our relationships. Can we consciously access, change or minimize these instantaneous psychological/chemical
formations? Yes we can and we do this with the help of the 3 main realignment techniques that help create a Community Culture! For many in the "West", the feeling of community and belonging is lacking. Our interactions leave many of us dissatisfied or alienated. Often we compensate with words, and in other ways, bottling up too much. Here we need to implement a micro psychology of micro-actions and interactions under an umbrella of a Community Culture. Such a psychology generates a different kind of morality and ethics, and a way of living that requires us to be based in an ongoing non-adversarial dynamic.
Beside these 3 practices, which are personally adjusted, most of the rest of our practices are individually tailored. They are assessed by the subject, the Helper and the facilitators. In the Aaahh, we do not think or act in broad general terms. We first address personal issues on a personal level. That is, first, I have to be responsible, and then I can be assisted by friends. The broadly general is combined with the narrowly specific in a whole process of integration. In this dynamic the experimenter is part of the experiment. 'Me and the Other, subject object' concept is based primarily on a unifying field. Through the synergy of these 3 main practices we create a dynamic (psychology) in which the mind and intellect act as a supportive factor to the Individual/Communal Experience. In this dynamic we can reduce our psychological processes to nano second conclusions and responses corresponding with the Aaahh culture.
