TRIP INFO & NEW PICs!
REMINDER -- THIS IS NOT A SCHOOL TRIP -- THIS IS NOT SANCTIONED BY THE SCHOOL -- IT IS AN INDEPENDENT EXCURSION IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH VALENCIA HIGH SCHOOL. NO CURRENT VHS students may attend -- as this is NOT a school trip. Please make sure your parents understand that this IS NOT a school function.
We will be having you call your parents when you get to Cal State Fullerton to remind them that this is not a school trip. Or you can bring a note (just copy the following text and have them sign/date it). Tell them we'll be carpooling.
"I am allowing my child to go on a trip to the Museum of Tolerance. I am aware that this IS NOT a school function and is in no way affiliated with Valencia High School. I am aware that my child will be providing their own transportation for the trip and will have adult supervision for the Museum (and food after) ONLY. Attendees will facilitate individual trips home."
-- Basically, it just says that your parent(s) understand that this IS NOT a school trip and lets them know that Schiff and I will not be responsible for you guys AFTER the trip -- so don't do anything stupid and DRIVE SAFE!!!

WHAT: Trip to the Museum of Tolerance -- paid for by Filo to congratulate you for all your hard work. Bring about $10-$20 for food after we go to the museum. I'll pay for everyone's admission :)
WHERE: Meet at the Cal State Fullerton Parking Lot -- across from the Mobile station at the cross streets of Yorba Linda and Associated. Look for my ugly, dirty car :)

WHEN: Meet on Sunday, June 15th at 10:00 AM -- we will leave by 10:15, BE ON TIME or we will miss our reservation (it's for 11:15 and we have to get there early).
WHY: Because you guys are awesome!
HOW COME IT'S IMPORTANT THAT YOU GO: So we can have one final get-together with Schiff, myself, and this wonderful class. The museum is extremely precious to Schiff and I -- both my grandparents were Auschwitz survivors -- and it means a lot to both of us that we get to share it with you guys. Also -- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

We still need a few people to drive -- so try to pre-arrange a seat for yourself in someone's vehicle. The trip will be over by the evening, so you'll get home in plenty of time to see your Dad :)
