The proofs for the first three volumes have arrived. King Arthur and His Knights is in the process of being approved and the other two (Sir Launcelot and his Companions / The Champions of the Round Table) are approved and within a few weeks should start showing up listed in Barnes and Noble and Amazon. In order to keep the cost down to those who would like to buy, the price has been set up as $14.99 per volume, which is extremely reasonable (if I were to set it up with regular book stores, we would have had to charge $27 to not take a loss).
The intention behind these republications is to keep the cost as low as possible and give the reader a really nice copy of some classic books. That said---we do want to make our money back. To give you an idea, the set-up costs for getting it printed, ordering ISBNs, and receiving a proof, all amount to approximately $125-$150 (not including time and skill spent in typesetting and proofing). At the amount of profit I've set for these books, we'll need to sell a hundred or more to regain that expenditure. Hopefully that will happen over the course of several years.
So, should you happen to order a book, congratulate yourself that you are receiving an excellent deal and hopefully you enjoy the reading experience!
