mETs (metropolitans of East Texas)
This webpage is designed to introduce me to car enthusiasts in the Ark-La-Tex area and provide upcoming chances to get together. See bottom of page for car show info.
This is just the preliminary stage for getting people acquainted with me and organizing an East Texas club. My name is Gaines Evans and I have been involved with (hands-on) Metropolitans since 2001, but I have been an enthusiast since I was a kid. The picture to the right is me in Lincoln, NE in 2006. I have done most of the restoration myself, except the body and paint. My Met is a '58 and I enjoy driving it to shows and around town on errands. I've found that a Met is a one-car car show. |
