Bowls Theft

Hi --  My name is Sharyl Ann Milligan, and I am the Coach of the Cobourg Junior Lawn Bowling Programme.  This past week we started a new program in conjunction with one of the Public Schools in Cobourg in having their 102 Grade 8's come to learn the art and skill of lawn bowling.
The students come in their classes, with one class at a time, usually 24 or 26 - we had an excellent first session and with the number of lawn bowls Taylor Size 0, 00 and Junior Ace we were able to outfit the class.  All was locked up when I left on Monday - to my horror when I arrived at the Club Tuesday am - it was to learn the lock had been removed from one of the junior lockers and a significant amount of lawn bowling equipment taken.

I've listed everything on a separate sheet - if you would please download the attachment - and ask your members to be on the lookout.  The Cobourg Juniors are very upset with what happened.

Coaching Sessions with Lachlan Tighe

All Ontario Bowlers – are you a beginner or an expert? It doesn’t matter, Ontario Lawn Bowls has arranged for the Australian Coach, Lachlan Tighe, who is also our National Team Coach, to come to Ontario in May this year, to work with any and all Ontario Bowlers, who are interested in improving their game.

The time is right, early in the season, for you to reap the benefit of his expertise. You may come to one or all three of his instructional days. See the flyer for more information.
