The person responsible for researching most of this information isn't even a Hoare/Hore descendant.  Leanne Kellalea who has researched the Killalea line for almost 30 yrs was so determined to find out who raised my grandfather Joseph Killalea (Known as "Joseph Patrick Hore" his entire adult life) that she created a huge Hoare/Hore database which she kindly handed over to me with over 7,500 names in it.  We still don't have proof of who raised Joseph but have our suspicions and maybe one day this site will provide the answer.  Perhaps somebody has him listed in a family already and don't know who he really is but he was the grandson of Sarah Hoare and it is believed he grew up in the Albury area.  I gave Leanne a personalised mug for her birthday this year declaring her a "Honorary Hore" for her efforts with our family tree.

I spent quite a lot of time in Albury myself during 2005-2006 helping look after another Killalea & Hoare/Hore descendant prior to his death in 2007.  During this period I made numerous trips to the cemeteries in that area taking photos of all the Hore graves initially and then the associated families together with many trips to the cemetery records office for printouts of burials.  Whilst I was doing this Leanne kept plodding away with both the Hore and Killalea research although I think the Hore's ended up taking up more of her time as like so many other people she was fascinated with the tangles in the tree.  We know that several people actually descend from more than one branch of the tree, especially when you go back another step into the Love lines.  Rixons, Waites and Seymours seem to also appear in more than one branch of the Hoare/Hore tree.

Note that there will be a lot more information available here on any of the families who were in the Albury area as the information shown on the graves provided a lot of the clues to putting the trees together.

Should anybody else be happy to provide additional information I will add it to the database to assist other researchers as well but would appreciate some form of evidence.  In some instances though there could be clues in stories handed down from one generation to the next worth mentioning.
