Finding Faith

Having Hope

Terri Ferran grew up in a small Colorado town that offered little in the way of entertainment. She escaped through reading (and later on a Continental Trailways bus), and although the town didn’t have a library, she eagerly anticipated the coming of the Bookmobile and would check out stacks of books at a time.

When she was fourteen she discovered one of her favorite books, Gone With the Wind. She started reading it on the bus on the way home from school, and read straight through until she finished it at 4 am the following morning.

She moved to Utah as a high school senior where she joined the LDS Church and met her husband, Tod. Quietly dreaming of becoming a writer, Terri took the secure route and majored in Accounting at Utah State University. She is a CPA who spent many years in public accounting and as the CFO of an automotive dealership group.

In 2005 she finally got brave enough to quit working in the safe world of numbers to pursue her dream of writing and also to spend more time with her children.

She has just released her first humor/family life book, Life's Alphabet Soup: When your children make you eat your words, and is also the author of two inspirational fiction books Finding Faith and Having Hope (books 1 & 2 of the Faith, Hope, and Charity trilogy).

Terri and her husband are the parents of six children; three boys and three girls. When she’s not busy writing or doing mom things, Terri still loves to read, but can usually be found doing laundry, dishes, running errands, napping, eating chocolate or exercising (not necessarily in that order).
