Internship at Pinckneyville Middle – Perform all duties of media specialist including collaborating with teachers in designing lessons and finding resources, teaching the lessons, working the book fair, improving students’ information literacy, analyzing library collection according to AKS, and creating book orders.  Assist with textbook checkout.

Media Clerk at Pinckneyville Middle – Assist students with Readers’ Advisory and with finding books in the library. Comfortable with the Destiny circulation system.  Assist Media Specialist with AR program and Read 180.  Assist with bus call.  Trouble-shoot technology equipment.  Assist media specialist with lessons, book orders, book fair and processing materials.  Create displays and promote reading.
