Wednesday, November 11, 5:30 pm, Prof./cav Philip di Novo, Executive Director of the American Italian Heritage Museum, will speak on the topic "Italian American History Unknown and Untold" including little known insights on American history.

Champagne Preview Party  Thursday, December 3  5:30pm – 8:30pm

Join us for a preview of the Mansion’s gracious rooms and halls beautifully decorated for the holidays by community volunteers. Enjoy a light champagne reception, a Silent Auction, Holiday Gift Shop and a visit from Sinterklaas.      $60 per person         Pre-paid reservations required.

Holiday Tea at Ten Broeck Mansion  Friday, December 4  2:00pm – 4:00pm

Enjoy a festive Holiday Tea served in the formal dining room. Sit with friends in one of the lovely parlors and then stroll through the beautifully decorated rooms and hallways. Stop in the Holiday Gift Shop for early gift shopping..    $15 per person      Pre-paid reservations required. 

Lecture: “Joyful Traditions:  How the Dutch Brought Us Santa, Presents and Treats”  Saturday, December 5  1:00pm.  Speaker: author Ms. Peter Rose.   After the lecture, enjoy light refreshments and a visit with Sinterklaas.   Free admission.  THIS EVENT IS MADE POSSIBLE BY A NYS QUAD GRANT THROUGH THE ALBANY VISITORS CENTER.

Open House 

Sunday, December  6 noon – 4:00pm & Saturday, December 12  10:00am – 2:00pm

Begin the Albany holiday season with a visit to Holiday House at Ten Broeck Mansion’s Open House. Stroll through the Mansion. Ask questions of Mansion volunteers. Shop in the Holiday Gift Shop. Let the children enjoy holiday crafts, a visit from Sinterklaas (12 to 2pm).  Enjoy listening to invited choirs singing seasonal songs and carols.  $5 per adult · $1 for children under 12 · $10 Family Rate 

Lecture: "The Joys and Wonders of Chanukah---the Jewish Festival of Lights," Wednesday, December 16  1:00pm.  Speaker: Richard Feldman.   Light refreshments.  Free admission.

Children’s Story Hour   Saturday, December 19  10:30am - noon

Bring your children to hear Holiday stories read by Sinterklaas, play parlor games, and enjoy simple holiday refreshments. (Recommended ages 3 to 10).  Free admission.

Holiday Madrigals, Coffee & Desserts    Saturday, December 19   3:00pm – 5:00pm

Enjoy afternoon coffee & desserts and holiday songs performed by a special Madrigal Singing Ensemble. Stroll through the beautifully decorated Mansion rooms and hallways.

$20 per person. Reservations suggested.   Combined Holiday Madrigals & Opera at Ten Broeck  $40/person

Opera at Ten Broeck Mansion    Sunday, December 20  2:00pm – 4:00pm

Lake George Opera brings a program of opera favorites to the Mansion. Enjoy refreshments. Stroll through the beautifully decorated house.  $25 per person. Pre-paid reservations required.

                Combined Holiday Madrigals & Opera at Ten Broeck  $40/person

Twelfth Night Dinner    Saturday, January 9  5:00pm – 8:00pm

End the Holiday Season with a Twelfth Night Dinner in the Mansion’s beautifully decorated formal dining room. Seating is limited to twelve adults.  $75 per person. Pre-paid reservations required.
