inspiring things about Temple Square is to see how it affects people that visit
this beautiful place. Here is what Kristina Law, who used to serve on Temple Square said: "A long time ago I served on Temple Square as one of the sister missionaries. As I sat down to think of the impact of Temple Square on people over the years, my mind was flooded with fond memories and many stories of people from all different backgrounds and different countries. It did not matter who they were, they ranged from people that did not even believe in God, to people that were looking for new hope, to people that had deep religious backgrounds and on and on. In all the tours I've taken others around one thing was always common. As the tour progressed people would open up their hearts to me and we could talk sincerely about the things they desired to know. Some of the tours were simply amazing. Later in my life every time I would share stories from Temple Square Mission time to time, people would always come to me and thank me for sharing my experiences with them. They said that they were touched and inspired by what they heard. When I first heard about the book "Angels on Temple Sqaure" I was very excited because there was no other book like that. When I first read the book it reminded me of many amazing things that happened on Temple Square and I was so grateful Maurine and Joyce published it after all. As time went on and Maurine published the second book "Missionary Moments on Temple Square" I decided to become more involved in this wonderful project and created this website that would continue the legacy of the first two books. We want you to be able to read these stories on regular basis so you too can be touched by the wonderful spirit they bring. At this point we do not know if there will be a third book in the future, but we want these stories to be heard and read by others, so we think that a free Newsletter is a great way to go about it. In this periodic newsletter we want to share two kinds of these kind o stories with you. If we start another project or add something new to this website we will let you know through the newsletter emails as well. I am grateful for every success, every little benefit these stories produce, in anyone's life." |
