He is a member of Israel's negotiating teams with both Syria and the Palestinians, and currently serves as head of the Israeli side of the Israeli-Palestinian Culture of Peace negotiations. He has served as legal adviser to Israel's Mission to the United Nations. Recently, he was instrumental in negotiating the cease-fire in Gaza.
