With Distinguished Speaker, DANIEL TAUB,  
PRINCIPAL DEPUTY LEGAL ADVISER OF ISRAEL'S MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

As one of the most senior international lawyers in the Israeli
Government, Mr. Taub is an expert in counterterrorism, international
organizations and humanitarian law. He is a member of Israel's
negotiating teams with both Syria and the Palestinians, and currently
serves as head of the Israeli side of the Israeli-Palestinian Culture of
Peace negotiations. He has served as legal adviser to Israel's Mission
to the United Nations. Recently, he was instrumental in negotiating
the cease-fire in Gaza. He regularly acts as spokesperson for the
Israel i Government , appear ing on CNN, BBC, and NPR.
