What is this site about?
Tek-Bits Classroom is a site for learning and sharing, with links to information and tutorials. The topics are mostly about the Internet and include services and features that are easily obtainable for the average (not so technically inclined) user. What will you find here? This started with a list of suggested sites for people who know how to open a browser, but need some help getting started with a search. You'll find my original "picks" at the Research Center, along with links to beginner lessons and office software tutorials. On this site, however, I've added "Web Plus" class material. Is there going to be more added to this site? Most likely, yes. Suggestions or comments are welcome. If you'd like to share ideas, and want to join the Tek-Bits discussion group, please send an email to me to receive an invitation. Do you belong to a library? Please Include your library card # if you have one, when you apply for membership. Once you join, you can login to the group at http://groups.google.com/group/TekBits. | Do you need to get started?
