Our Painted Desert Sheep

All the spotted sheep here at our farm are registered with the Painted Desert Sheep Society.

The Painted Desert Sheep is a  hair sheep (NO Shearing needed) that received  its influence from  Merino, Rambouilett & Mouflon sheep. These sheep shed their  winter wool naturally each spring and are spotted and ewes are polled. The rams are not polled and horns are a requirement for registration.. They also have NO odor, like most goats do.

We have many lambs & a few grown ewes for sale, at this time. We are starting the process of Reservation Deposits. A 50% deposit is required to hold animals until weaning. A check or money order may be used for the deposit. Cash only on balance on day of pickup.

We are excited to introduce you to GERONIMO, our newest Sire for our flock.
GERONIMO will be our herd sire for the 2010 lambing season. We are very glad to have him.

Due to the overwhelming response we got, from our friends, most of the sheep we had have been moved to new homes. We still have a couple PD sheep that need new homes.
Contact us if interested in going into the Registered Painted Desert Sheep business. We also have a few American Blackbelly and Mouflon crossed sheep. Look below to view a word document updated 12/03/09, or email me if interested and I will send  a word document of the sheep available for the reduced price sale.
