Biblical Resources

One of the very best resources available to you is David Plotz's wonderful Blogging the Bible. You are free to use this as a resource whenever you want, as long as you credit properly. I also recommend that you email him if you have questions or comments. He has responded to our students in the past!

The Bible Gateway is a good search engine. You can search in a multitude of versions and languages.

The Biblical Archaeology Society Archive has a huge collection of articles. The school has a subscription, which can be accessed through the Paw Page.

A good overview of the Documentary Hypothesis.

The Skeptic's Annotated Bible - certainly slanted, but a good resource.

Quick Summaries of the Books of the Old Testament.

An amazing Bible Timeline.ppt

Some good Bible Diagrams.ppt

Class Glossary - add as you go!
