A unique feature of this program is the participation of industry in developing our students. Thus the Center for Building Competence in Product Lifecycle Management has been established with the support of Dassault Systemes. Their representatives are working with us in developing the course curriculum and also in helping students engage meaningfully with the industry. Here is what they intend to do {More....}
We also welcome participation from other industries - particularly in the various opportunity sectors identified by our partners. We expect industry to assign projects to students participating in the TM courses. This is one way of developing students with the relevant exposure to PLM concepts and technologies that can be later used by the industry. We urge students to pursue their interests in the following industry segments:
1. Automobile Industry 2. Consumer Goods Industry 3. Industrial Equipment 4. Hi-tech Electronic Goods 5. Power and Energy Sector 6. Shipbuilding 7. Aerospace 8. Consumer Packaged Goods 9. IT Enabled Services 10. IT Industry 11. Jewellery Industry 12. Infrastructure Management 13. Apparel Industry Other centers are also aligning some of their efforts to meet the TM program requiremnts.
