Introducing Twitter

Twitter is a microblogging platform that enables a real-time interaction between users, using different devices, technologies and applications.

Watch the videos below to learn more:

"A quick and plain English intro the micro-blogging service Twitter."

"How Twitter Search creates new opportunities for business feedback, tracking news in real time and discovering trends."

Visualise your tweets

One of the nice things you can do with Twitter is display Tweets about a certain topic that are being made in 'real time'.  Many conferences are now using sites such as visibletweets.com to project peoples messages about the conference in question onto large displays so that audience members/delegates can see them.

Below you'll see an example of visible tweets used to display all the messages that my e-learning team* have posted:

Visible Tweets let you search for and display Tweets containing specific words in real time, the example above is displaying all Tweets containing the word "shsstells".
