- Creately - A nice free online chart & diagram maker, with this site you can make unlimited diagrams for free as long as you are happy for them to be publicly viewable.
- Gliffy - "With Gliffy online diagramming software, you can easily create professional-looking flowcharts, diagrams, floor plans, technical drawings, and more!"
- Project // Draw - From the makers of Autocad, this free online tool lets you create diagrams online for free.
- Lovely Charts - This site lets you create professional looking flowcharts, network diagrams & site maps for free.
- Lucid Chart - Similar to Lovely Charts, this site lets you create flowcharts online, for free.
- Chartle.net - This is a nice site that lets you make interactive pie charts, graphs and maps that you can then embed into web pages on your VLE or blog.
- Draw Anywhere - Another alternative to Lovely Charts & Lucid Charts, it lets you create and share diagrams online, for free.
- Dia - Dia is free software that you must download and install onto your computer before you can use it.
