Welcome to Technology and Social Work

 
I am T, a MSW student at the University of Washington Tacoma.
 
I starting this project to share technology resources as they relate to social work students and educators.
 
My research focus is Technology and Social Work because;
  • social workers assist many individuals impacted by their lack of technology and/or resources,
  • social workers need technology skills for teaching and learning,
  • social workers serve in environments which use new and changing technology,
  • social workers' mission is extending into online groups and virtual societies.

In the future, TechSW.com will present technology for academic and professional Social Work. These may include technology in the delivery of services and as support, technology reviews, and a forum for social workers can ask technology questions and get practical answers from other Social Work professionals.
