Cool web 2.0 tools

Background:

Web 2.0 tools are dynamic and result in sharing of content that cannot be found in static web pages. This promotes creativity, collaboration, and sharing of content before not possible.

  • Easy to use and make trading cards, magazine covers, posters, billboards, etc. No account is needed but the project must be completed and saved to your computer. Use the saved images by inserting into documents or a web page. Make trading cards to get to know each other, posters for projects, etc.

  • Ideas for wordle: all about me essay, discuss reports, post your syllabus or expectations, most important ideas from a passage, use instead of a survey (each student types in a favorite food and can see the most favorite), use for poster contests, foreign language vocabulary, make a unique gift, curriculum mapping, look for bias in articles, enter a text ot create writing prompts, make a poster of spelling words, enter reflection essays to see if you have strayed off-topic.
