What We Teach‎ > ‎

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a dynamic and effective sport, evolving from the practice of many different martial arts. It is a recent sport, originating in the US during the 1970's. Essentially it is boxing with kicks - combining Western and Eastern techniques.

Raptors style of Kickboxing is very different to all other Kickboxing schools; it is unique.  in that it is a blend of Kung Fu, Boxing, Karate and Kickboxing to ensure that Martial Arts is accessible to all.

Footwork, kicks, punches and blocking techniques are taught.   Our students skills are perfected by sparring* with other students - in order to learn how to judge distances, timing and contact. Fighting tactics are taught too.

Kickboxing has evolved into its own unique martial art. A defined martial art,not a cardio kickboxing something or other it's the real deal. safety is paramount but the skills and training are genuine.
