Foolkiller 2010





Our team will be hiking the Franconia Ridge in New Hampshire's White Mountains from the Flume Parking lot to the Hikers Parking lot at the end of Zealand Road.  The plan is to hike and raise the FARA Banner over eleven 4000 ft. mountains over the course of  five days and four nights.  The hike begins Wednesday, August 25th and ends Sunday, August 29th. The hike will cover a total of 32.6 miles.  Go to our Itinerary Page for the Hike details.

FARA is a national, public, 501(c)(3), non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to curing Friedreich’s ataxia (FA) through research. FARA grants and activities provide support for basic and translational FA research, pharmaceutical/ biotech drug development, clinical trials, and scientific conferences. FARA also serves as a catalyst, between the public and scientific community, to create worldwide exchanges of information that drive medical advances.
