Welcome to Team D English!

   Beginning 7th grade is a real adventure.  I want to welcome you to Gates Intermediate School and hope that you will soon feel comfortable here.  I always tell students that in two weeks you will feel much more settled-in and will know where you are going and what you are supposed to be doing - at least for most of the time!

 For most students and parents, the best way to stay current will be to log on to Ed Line (click on the link on left). You will be getting information about how to set up your account in the first week or two of school.  If you lose your password or log-in name, please contact me.  I will be updating my homework through Ed Line. and you will be able to see your grades as I update them, so it will be a very useful tool.  I can even send out e-mails to students and parents through Ed Line, so I hope that all students and parents will give us their e-mail addresses.

How can you reach me?

     Students, please see me when you need extra help, want  questions answered, or need to make-up tests or quizzes due to absences.  How do you find me?  In my classroom before or after class, during performance blocks, or by e-mail - see my link below.  If you want to make an appointment for me to spend time with you before or after school, that can be arranged - just let me know.  Please make an appointment with me for because I may have meetings or other students to see, so am not always available.
