How do I  install Folding@Home on PCLinuxOS?

To get started get the client here

to install simply create a directory and copy the downloaded executable into that directory.

open a terminal and make it executable....
chmod +x FAH504-Linux.exe

then launch it by
./FAH504-Linux.exe

the 1st time you launch, you will have to configure the client...
Just enter your username (can be anything you want, however I recommend you use your forum name so we will know who is who) and our team number 50619

advanced users who want to maximise output may want to use a few flags for instance: I use the following

./FAH504-Linux.exe -forceasm -verbosity 9 -advmethods

this is recommended however for those with more powerfull machines of the P4, AthlonXP or higher era.  P3 and Athlon users or lower, it is recommended you should run with no flags.
