Note that the peak in the graph corresponds with the exclusion of US players from online poker and the beginning of play for Axis on UB and ABS. As you can see in the graph below, Axis peaked at 4 bb/100 while playing only Paradise, PokerStars, and Hollywood.

I was surprised to see Axis do poorly on the .25/.50 limits.  This caused me to rethink my original assumption that profiles whose performance is very good at a lower level are those that should be moved to a higher level.

There does not seem to be a correlation between the VP$IP of the session and the success of Axis.  However, I base this only on the following graph which I derived from Poker Tracker's native graphing application.  I am not very familiar with how it works, but I think this is right:

 Above I have filtered all sessions with less than 25 hands from all data at limits of .50/1 and 1/2.
