The Trauma and Coping Research Group conducts research on psychological trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder, and the ways that people cope with trauma.  We are particularly interested in the co-occurrence of PTSD and substance use disorders. We are currently conducting projects on campus at The University of Memphis, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis, and in the community.
