Baked Apple (Fries)

Know those unhealthy fries the kids love so much in the fast food meals? Make little healthy ones with delicious apples and a hint of cinnamon. These warm snacks will grab everyone in a healthier light~

Ingredients
14 apples
1 jar of cinnamon

Directions
  1. Wash apples and cut them into small fry-like pieces
  2. Place apple slices on a baking sheet and place them in an oven on broil for about 5 minutes 
  3. Take apples out and let them cool before serving
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples and enjoy :)
~Hints and Tips~

-Allow the kids to sprinkle cinnamon on their own apples so they can be involved in the snack

- If the kids are participating in the cutting of the apples, make sure to be careful when using the knife!
- If you make the fries larger, you can also make them as garlic fries and use peanuts as the garlic and you can still keep the cinnamons as well

1. I didn't like it because it was baked.

3.(could remember getting the apples and putting cinnamon... when asked if she would make it at home she shook her head)
