Because of the absence of support groups in the central area of the island, we decided to start a group for parents who, like us, decided to homeschool their children. Our group
unites families that practice, or who wish to practice, unschooling
(natural learning) or radical unschooling. Children, by nature, have an
extraordinary interest in learning new things and it is very easy for
them to do so.
We meet virtually, online, so that no parent will be limited by geography from attending the meetings. We do this via the chat and video conference program at www.skipe.com .
