The Dublin University Women Graduates Association (DUWGA) was established in 1922 to enable women graduates keep in touch with Trinity, with each other, and with women graduates all over the world. Membership of DUWGA is open to women graduates of any recognised University. 

What we do

Members of DUWGA are part of a global network of women graduates. 
 
As members of the network of International Federation of University Women (IFUW) and University Women of Europe (UWE) we
  • attend international meetings as voting delegates and contribute to the decision making process
  • contribute to the development of policies
  • identify and sponsor speakers to present at conferences
  • organise workshops.
  • In addition, as members of the Irish Federation of University Women (IrFUW), DUWGA
    • organises a national public speaking competion for girls under 15
    • is a member of National Women's Council of Ireland (NWCI)
    • operates a Bursary Fund which provides a small grant to a number of women graduates
    • supports the Trinity Access Programmes (TAP) with an annual bursary
    •  
    • organises a lectures with guest speakers during the academic year
    • organises a variety of cultural events.
