Lauren has been involved with band since she was in the womb. She started French horn in 5th grade and has been playing ever since. She has been involved with too many ensembles to list. Sorority:
Lauren is a member of the Beta Upsilon, Spring 2009 class. She is proud to be a part of the fantastic Cookie Monster Family. Not only does she adore her family, she is also given an excuse to eat thousands of cookies as often as she wants. But most importantly, she loves being a sister of Tau Beta Sigma.

School:
Ash is a senior horticultural major. After college, she plans to work in a greenhouse somewhere growing plants and constantly being covered in dirt.

Band:
Ash began her musical career with the clarinet in 4th grade, in a school that used a solfege scale system (do, re mi). After moving to a new school, she had to re-learn how to read music, this time with the A-G scale. She marched with her clarinet for one year in high school, and then after breaking too many reeds, switched to mellophone, where she has been ever since. She is currently in the horn section in the UCMB.

Sorority:
Ash joined the Sisterhood with the amazing twelve person class of Beta Oops in Spring 2009. She is a member of the Irish family, and looks forward to many wonderful years with Gamma Kappa.

Big Sister: Katelin Collard
Little Sister: Sean Leitch

School:
Angie is an 8th semester Senior at the University of Connecticut. I am double majoring in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies. She is curently interested in pursuing a career in Social Work or Social Services.

Band:
After playing soccer for 11 years as a goal keeper, one day in my Junior year of high school she decided to put all of that behind me and picked up a flag for the first time. From then on she fell in love with spinning, dancing, and performace through musical expression. She has had two years of basic spinning experience in a newly formed high school winterguard, before arriving at UConn. Thus she had no previous band knowledge or experience coming into the UCMB, but my section and the UCMB whipped me into shape. She went from goofy awkward guard member, to still goofy but much less awkward and experienced guard member.

Sorority:
I joined the Sisterhood with the Beta Upsilon class in Spring 2009. I am a proud member of the Cool Family and the newly formed Tye Dye Family!
