East Texas school district battles CyberBullying and sexting
Lindale ISD High school students get a valuable lesson on how to protect themselves online and on campus in a presentation that touched on topics like cyberbullying and sexting.
Juniors and seniors paid attention to statistics on colleges and future bosses who now watch for any online mishaps.
"I had no idea that scholarships and employers actually check all your different social things," Lindale junior Alec Dejong said. "I wouldn't let one little thing that I put on Facebook be the deciding factor in whether I'm going to get a scholarship to go to the college I want to or not."

A data breach that is believed to be the most extensive in Texas history, and one of the largest in the United States was just announced.
Personal information for over 3.5 million state employees was being stored on a publicly available server of the State Comptroller. The State Attorney General and the FBI have launched a criminal investigation.
