About

I am a professor of economics at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).

Before taking up my current position at SDU, I held positions as both an assistant and an associate professor at the University of Copenhagen. I have also worked at the Danish central bank. 

My fields of interest are economic development, economic history, economic growth, and applied macroeconomics. I have published in journals such as Review of Economic Studies, Review of Economic Statistics, Economic Journal, Energy Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Growth, IMF Economic Review, and World Bank Economic Review. 

I live in Copenhagen with my wife and two children.
