October 14, 2008
There are many home remedies solutions for dull hair. Very few are successful.
Dull hair is caused by cuticle damage. The cuticle is the outermost layer of hair. To counter act dullness and increase your hairs volume (fullness and height) we recommend you clean your hair frequently, using good-quality products and be sure to use conditioner.
To condition your hair, make sure all the shampoo has been rinsed out of your hair. Pour the conditioner in the palm of your hand and using your fingertips spread it in evenly. Leave it for at least a minute, then thoroughly rinse.
Teasing your hair or combing your hair backwards from tip to root will rough up your cuticle. What may seem like you have increased volume will damage your hair over time and is not recommended. What you can do is use a brush with a bigger diameter. This will give you more of a lift and less wrapping around itself.
Short hairstyles to long, tête-à-tête professionals will help you do away with dullness and increase you hairs volume. tête-à-tête is open 7 days a week. We are a full service beauty salon without trendy salon prices. To quote one of our customers “Everyone at tête-à-tête is very friendly and accommodating. Always satisfied with the services!” Great Summer Hair from tête-à-tête's Beauty Salon Professionals
July 15, 2008
Another change of season means time to update your hair care routine.
Summer sun and humidity can both make your hair oily and dry it out. Heat stimulates the scalp to produces more oil, while the ends are becoming more dry and frizzled.
Limit or discontinue the use of the blow dryer. Or use a conditioner that you leave in your hair.
Look for hair products that “replenish” to add moisture back in your strands.
A treatment you may want to try is to apply conditioner to damp or dry hair, wrap in a shower cap just before bedtime. The conditioner will soak into hair overnight mending your damaged hair.
Stay on you schedule for having your hair trimmed to remove summer split ends. And don’t forget about using hair care products with sunscreen in them when spending time at the beach! tête-à-tête Is The Easy Way To Get Your Spring Look
May 6, 2008
It is time to match your hairstyle with your Spring wardrobe. To complement the colors and open necklines, and being back outdoors.
Begin with considering coloring for a new or enhanced look. Lightening, changing the tone or changing the shade can be the look you are looking for.
When it comes to cutting, it is more important to look at where it is being cut from rather than how much. With a color change, you may not want a big change in length. Or, it may be the transition that is just right for you. Compliment your wardrobe with your hairstyle to look and feel your best. Tips For Coping With Winter Weather on Your Hair and Nails
