You are looking to get a tattoo. That is why you are here!
You need some help deciding what to get? That is why I am here!
But when deciding, you must answer these questions:
Why am I doing this?
What does it mean to me?
How will I feel when other people see it?

Look at it this way, getting a Tattoo of a Monkeys Butt on you
forehead might be cute now, but in 10 years, it may not be
considered “the in thing”.
I realize that you are not going to go that far but there are some
choices that you might consider, reconsidering. Names are ones of
those. If it is your mom, dad, grandmother, son or daughter, there
is no concern there. If it is your girlfriend, boyfriend or something of
that nature I would highly advise you NO! What happens if you and
that person have a falling out? You are stuck like an ass with his/her
name welded on you.
Getting married to Jennifer with Susan Tattoo'ed on your neck!
You do not want that!
One of the things that I tell people is to pick something that
means a lot to them. I mean a lot. You would not believe the
thanks I get from people that I have talked with about this. And
you would not believe the things that people have in their life that
is meaningful enough to have it Tattooed on their body.
I had a guy get a teddy bear on his shoulder. This was a big dude
and I was not going to make fun of him but I had to know what
the significance was. He told me a story of when he was in the
Army in the Gulf. He got stuck with a little runt as a battle buddy.
He told me the first 2 months he wanted to kill the guy. He did
not tell me what happened but his battle buddy did not make it
home. His name was Teddy. So, that is how he paid tribute to
his brother in arms.
Still need ideas? Don’t worry; there are a ton of places you can
get them from. Online is one. But I want you to understand that
there are some sites that will let you look at the Tat’s but you
can’t download unless you pay $8.00 each. That can gat nasty! I
have some sites that I have used and still use when I help people
with their decisions.
Chopper has a great selection of all kinds of Tattoo’s that you can choose from and the best part is that you can print them all and take them to you favorite ink injector to have them done. No extra cost. Several different payment ideas but you can become a lifetime member of Chopper for less than $35.00. This is a lifetime access to an ever growing inventory. Thousands now are viewable and printable.
Tattoo Me Now has a huge data base and a well laid out site which easy to use and navigate. Year membership comes with a Tattoo Studio Directory. It has over 10,000 to choose from. It is always good to learn about your place before you get ink done. This also has a member’s exchange gallery where members exchange pictures of their Tattoos. This is another great tool fro picking your final product. You can see what it looks like on skin. I did not like the fact that they don’t have a lifetime membership option, but you never know it might be on the way.
Tattoo’s for women is a very good resource for all. This book puts together a lot of unanswered questions with straight forward responses. There is no guess work here. How to care for the tattoo, who you future employers might think, what to do the night before you get it done, what (for the ladies) if you are pregnant? These are not dumb questions and this book answers them. No need for a science degree to understand the answers either. Good book!
Chinese Tattoo’s is another great site. I love this site because of the translation of any word or sentence. Ying will amaze you at the Chinese calligraphy she does for you personally. You send the word, such as your moms name and she returns it back to your in beautiful Chinese Calligraphy. You then take it to the Tattoo’s shop and your inked! That simple. There is also a huge collection of Dragons and other oriental art work. It is amazing.
When you decide to get you Tattoo done, make sure the place is CLEAN!
Do not go home with a hitch hiker meaning disease.
Be safe!
