The Chan She Shu Yuen (Kuala Lumpur) was established on the 1896 by the honorable Chan Sow Ling, Chan Xin Xi, Chan Chun & Chan Zai Tian. 

The temple was build based on the architectural design of the Guang Zhou Chan She Shu Yuen's design in Guang Zhou, China. 

The temple houses the honorary statues of the Chan Clan's first ever ancestor from the Shun Dynasty Emperor Chung Hua;  along with Chen Hu Man, and the honorary Kai Zhang ruler Chen Yuan Guang.
