This draping class was basically based on learing how to construct clothing pieces and to learn how to get better at what we do. I must admit that we all worked to our very best on all our pieces.

Contructed a Bubble Dress

During this year i have learned many things; from draping to sewing and i also would always find my self learning newer techniques when it came to doing my work. I did have my good days and unfortunetley bad ones too, but i must say that i did indeed benefit from this class

This drape is basically  a long vest type jacket  that you can wear when you feel like going casual when its nice and cool out.

This drape was pretty much  two parts first we had worked on the shift dress which is basically in a way a straight dress. Then we worked on the latern sleeve, i went for the short sleeve. This sleeve you can say is not tight at all it's a loose one in a style of a lantern.

This drape is a Peg Skirt drape. In a way you can say its similar to a pleat type skirt and it did indeed take patience.

After working on both the Cowl Shirt and the Peg Skirt we had brought in our own fabric and constructed it together. I felt that i went for the casual style because of the fabric i choosed, which was white and cotton material.

This here is the drape of how i wanted my Bubble Dress to look like.

After draping the Bubble Dress, which was our own design we in the end constructed one and i must say it was pretty fun. I for example went for a party/ night out with the girls type of dress, but nothing over the top. It was revealing but not too revealing.
