Report a Bug! Make a Suggestion!

posted Apr 3, 2009 12:41 AM by Alexander W.   [ updated May 26, 2010 7:47 PM ]

For those of you who discover bugs, check out the Report a Bug verb in the new Testing panel.
Some Guidelines to Bug Reporting:
  • It doesn't have to be just a bug. Could be a typo, mathematical error, a glitch, a bad portal (you get stuck in a wall or something), or anything else that seems "broken"
  • As a courtesy to us, please check the bug list before submitting your find.
  • The feature will cut the description short of 500 characters.
    Hopefully
, there are no bugs which have a descriptions longer than that. If so, contact me personally.
Have a suggestion for us? Check out the Make a Suggestion verb in the Testing Panel

Thanks!

Combat system upgrades

Changes to combat system:
  • Accuracy and Agility have been refined and are now more intuitive.
Water = Dexterity. The more water you have, the more accurate and agile you are
Accuracy = Water/Fire....The more power you have, the less accurate
Agility = Water/Air.... The more you protect yourself, the less you can avoid attacks
Equipment modifies the Accuracy/Agility, these values are still not tuned yet, therefore the correct modification has not been set yet. Thanks for your patience.

  • The NPC's stats are now calculated the way players' stats are. Therefore a Level 3 NPC should be equally matched by a Level 3 Player.
Experience gained from killing NPCs is now based on a ratio:

    NPC's Level / Your Level

This ratio then multiplies the product of the monster's race attributes... The higher the class of monster, the more potential EXP you can get.

...But monsters weaker than you will give you less and less exp as you get stronger.
