Jo Lorente brengt voor tango-dansavond twee orkesten samen: “Tango 02” en “ El Junta Cadaveres”. De eerste geoefend volgens de traditionele school en de tweede gaat op zoek naar al wat electro-tango is.
De bandoneonspeler Patrick Vankeirsbilck wisselt zonder verpinken van orkest en stijl. Een waarborg voor een eclectische en verrassende dansnacht.
Ook de tangueros surfen mee op deze contrasten en het jonge publiek, dat de veeleisende tango nog niet kent, kan toch al wat eigenzinnige passen uitproberen op de electro-tango.
De tango staat bij de Unesco ingeschreven als immaterieel patrimonium van de mensheid. Alfredo Marcucci die ongetwijfeld deel uitmaakte van dit erfgoed bracht Patrick Vankeirsbilck de kunst van het bandoneonspel bij. Deze grootmeester, aan wie Patrick een grote hulde brengt, leerde hem de typische dansstijl. Ook de tango nuevo van Piazzolla is hem niet onbekend en daarnaast gaat hij ook op zoek nieuwe richtingen binnen de electro-tango met El Junta Cadaveres. Hij zet hiermee de traditionele en tegelijk vernieuwende trends binnen de tango verder. |
Pour le bal tango, Jo Lorente met face à face deux orchestres: “Tango 02” et “El Junta Cadaveres”. Le premier, "drillé" dans le tango pour la danse dans la haute tradition porteña de l'âge d'or du tango et le second ensemble, explorateur à tout va du tango électronique.
Le bandonéon de Patrick Vankeirsbilck, quant à lui, passe d'un groupe à l'autre sans se démonter!
Tout est en place pour une nuit dansante éclectique et insolite.
Les tangueros navigueront entre deux ports.
Le jeune public non encore initié à cette danse exigeante pourra créer des figures improbables sur l'électro-tango.
Le Tango, à été inscrit au patrimoine mondial immatériel de l'Unesco. Héritier direct de la vieille garde dont Alfredo Marcucci faisait partie, Patrick Vankeirsbilck à étudié l'instrument incontournable du tango: le bandonéon.
Avec ce maître de la grande époque, auquel il rend un fervent hommage, il a appris le style qui se danse. Le tango Nuevo de Piazzolla ne lui est pas inconnu. Mais il est aussi tourné vers la recherche et soutient l'électro-tango avec le groupe rock la Junta Cadaveres et perpétue ainsi la pratique traditionnelle et conquérante du Tango.

At Unesco, the tango is part of the immaterial heritage of humanity. Alfredo Marcucci was part of this huge inheritance and taught Patrick Vankeirsbilck to play the bandoneon. This master, to whom Patrick Vankeirsbilck will make a tribute, showed him the typical dance style in music. Patrick is also acquainted with the tango nuevo by Piazzolla and explores new trends within the electro-tango by means of the “El Junta Cadaveres” band. Doing so, he continuous the traditional and renewing character of the tango music. |
