BIRDHOUSES
All of my birdhouses are distinctly different. Each one has valuable momentos from the past, whether it be old doorknobs, locksets, license plates for a roof, pulleys or anything else I happen to come across during my journeys into the heartlands of America.
Here are some pictures of the ones I kept for myself. (You can double click on the photo to enlargen it, then use your browser's back arrow to return.)Some of them are over 10 years old. Rust adds character and interest to them.
They can be kept inside as a collector's item, or installed outside on a tree or pole.
If you have any items you want incorporated into the birdhouse, send it to me. I also do themes such as electrical, plumbing, all brass, all chrome, etc.
I will be glad to email you a picture of the birdhouse once it is completed for your approval, prior to shipping it.
Depending on size, theme, etc., prices usually range from $60-$100 (plus S&H).

This one has a license plate roof. The brass letters and studs came from an old elevator in the Feist and Feist building in Newark, NJ.
This one was an old electrical junction box. It still has the glass insulators on the sides. I divided it into 3 sections inside and made it a "condo".
An old deadbolt, brass door knob, brass letters (also from Feist and Feist) making up my name and license plate roof dressed this one up.
