Dan Tallman

I live in Northfield, Minnesota, where I band birds and offer regional ecotours.

I enjoy photography and other Arts.  I also have a photographic lifelist of birds and wildflowers.

During our graduate work in Peru, my wife Erika and I discovered a new bird, Nephalornis oneillii and had a bird named after us, Pipreola tallmanorum.

I have begun a bird blog and also offer a free ornithology course.

Here is a somewhat outdated resume.
