Tae-Sic has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Tae-Sic's advisor was Prof. Stéphane Lafortune. Thesis was mainly about decentralized reasoning and decisions with partial information.

Tae-Sic works for Idaho National Laboraory (former Argonne National Laboratory-West).
