Version 5.6 SysAid 5.6 release includes many hot new features in the Helpdesk, Asset Management, Manager's Dashboard, CMDB and Projects and Tasks. In the past few weeks, this release was well tested by hundreds of our dearest pathfinders who helped us improve it even better. Version 5.5 This release includes hot new features including CMDB, Tasks Notification, Reoccurring Events, Auto text Signature and more tweaks for you to enjoy. This release focuses on SysAid CMDB graphic view that maps the connections between all your CIs (Configuration Item).This feature enables you to quickly analyze your IT environment, identify possible issues or bottle necks which require your attention. In addition, you can simply navigate between the CIs for further investigation in all levels. SysAid CMDB and SysAid Community! The new CMDB module (Configuration Management Database) is designed to significantly lower your expenses. It maintains a comprehensive list of relationships between your configuration items (CIs), and helps you predict the business impact of changes in your network.

In this major release we have implemented many of your feature requests. Altogether the release includes 35 new features and 90 bug fixes. The main improvement is a totally revamped Knowledge Base module! The new Knowledge Base will save you time and improve your service by letting you automatically turn any service request into a searchable Knowledge Base item. The knowledge base is accessible to Administrators and End-users. The new Knowledge Base includes a tree view navigation system to help you and your users easily find any useful information. 5.1.02 Watch this preview presentation to learn more about the new SysAid 5.1.02 version... Version 5.06 5.0.06 was a minor version which included a few bug fixes intended to assist you with your daily work as IT professionals. Prior to version 5.0, SysAid had almost no graphical elements in the user interface. In version 5.0, we have changed the interface completely. We believe it provides a much better overall experience and allows better focus and efficiency in your daily work. However, the graphical elements caused the web browser in some cases to take a little longer drawing the web page on the client side. We took your feedback most seriously, and our development team worked rapidly on optimizing the interface, so we can now offer improved performance even on slower machines. More improvements we have made to SysAid version 5.0.06: *SR search includes Unicode characters in languages. *Firebird backup has been fixed and runs appropriately. *Remote Control does not change the statues of the controlled asset, so it does not appear to be off line. Version 5.01 New Features: End User satisfaction Survey - This new feature enables you to keep in touch with the needs of your end users. SysAiders can now issue a survey when closing a service request, in order to track and measure the satisfaction of your end users by the services of your helpdesk. DB Backup - You do not have to use external database to enjoy backup capabilities. SysAid supports backup in its internal databases. Now, you can use the database backup included in SysAid not only to backup your data but also to detect corrupted data. News - important information can now be shared in a news format. SysAid can notify your administrators about special events and incidents, as well as share relevant information with your end users. Notifying your end-users about a common problem or upcoming event has never been easier. vPro Support - vPro is a new chip by Intel that provides support for software and hardware inventory management, which allows remote access to your network, even to machines that are turned off. Now, if you have vPro chip installed on your network assets, you can use SysAid to control your network even when you are not in the office. In addition your remote sessions will be accelerated and improved using Mirror Driver. Translation mechanism has been improved and now uses Download/Upload options. Bugs Fixed Listed below are the solutions the new version of SysAid offers to bugs that existed in previous versions. Many missing strings have been added to the translation page. Enabled saving of an empty view in the Customized List page. Problems with the appearance of Unicode characters were solved in the Installed Software list. Problems with the appearance of Unicode characters in files attached to emails were fixed. Activity Times printouts were corrected to indicate the appropriate time zone for Start times and End times of service requests. Difficulties in saving changes in a parent service request when using MSSql database were fixed. Problems with ability of supervisors to see list of submitted service requests repaired. An impediment in adding sub categories when editing web forms was corrected. Multiple service requests with the same system service created in the monitoring templates corrected. Service request number appropriately mentioned in an email sent to the end user. Correct representation of the hours as PM or AM in the "Asset Changes by Date" report. Remote control is now available over Vista OS SysAid Cross-Site Vulnerability fixed Emails in Hebrew appropriately aligned to the right. Latest drivers release from MySQL This new version signifies a big step forward in the assistance SysAid can offer you with your daily work. The prominent new feature in version 5.0 is the new slick and chic SysAid interface. You will notice the improvement immediately, since the new SysAid interface was designed to allow you more focus and efficiency. From now on being in control over your network is also a visual pleasure. Move to the next level with the fresh interface to experience a whole new working atmosphere. Version 4.5.08 *A new type of update, device update, was added to the Monitoring Software/Hardware section in SysAid. The device update enables receiving notifications about changes in storage, memory, or both. *New templates were added for monitoring notifications. The new notification defaults include more information about each monitoring test, and can order data in the text of the notification itself. *New parameters added to the End User Portal: user, loginBean, firstName, lastName, userName, companyName, and companyKey Version 4.5.03 The Monitoring module will make your life at the IT service desk much easier. You will be able to prevent a crisis before it even happens thus save time, effort and money. Some of the main features of the new module are: Constant tests for memory usage, hard disk usage, vital OS services and processes, network services, software and hardware updates, and more. A warning or an error notification will be sent to you when something is wrong. SysAid will also open an automatic service request, notify you by email, or even send you an SMS message.
