Why Join a Club?
There has never been a better time to join a cycling club. Cycling is becoming more and more popular. Cycling is healthy, enjoyable and great fun! At SwordsCC, we try to cater for all cyclists, from absolute beginners, to professional racer wannabes! Although SwordsCC has active mountain bikers and touring sections, the main focus is road racing. SwordsCC run one of the most successfull club leagues with races every Wednesday, from April to September. SwordsCC have a training spin to suit everyone. Most spins are on weekends and run regardless of the weather. Check out our Club Training Spins page for more information.

How do I Join?To join Swords, you can join and pay on-line here or you can apply by post. To apply by Post, you need to complete our membership form and once completed, return to:

You will also need a licence, so have a read of the licence information box. New/Existing MembersNew/Existing Cycling Ireland members can Register/renew/upgrade their membership on-line on the Cycling Ireland website. This is a much quicker way to apply for membership.
| Why Get a Licence?In order to take part in the SwordsCC league, every rider must have a minimum of a Cycling Ireland Club Competition licence, or an IVCA Racing Membership.
Every rider who wants to participate in open races must have a Full Competition licence or IVCA Racing Membership. A Full Competition licence will also suffice for our club league races.
