Adobe Have Been Busy

Adobe have been busy bringing a few new items to the Mac market recently. The long-awaited PhotoShop Elements 6 is now with us and from the previews looks to be a must-have for anyone keen on digital photography/image manipulation and looks to offer a genuine alternative to iPhoto for image cataloging using Adobe Bridge. The interface has been completely redesigned from v.4 and the emphasis is on on ease of use. Other new features include PhotoMerge, 3 different edit modes, new tabs for ease of access to features and new and customisable layouts for books, cards and DVDs.

Brand new products soon to be available are PhotoShop Express and Adobe Media Player.

PhotoShop Express (currently in beta) is an online photo-editing/catalogue/storage/showcase aimed squarely at the Flickr/Facebook social networking crowd.

Apple Updates

Apple have just released a few software updates.  QuickTime (again!), iTunes, Keynote and Front Row have all been updated and are all available through either Software Update or by download from the Apple website.
