The vegetable share runs from June to Thanksgiving for 24 weeks.  It includes enough vegetables for two large vegetarian meals per week or side dishes for the whole week.  Vegetables include but are definitely not limited to heirloom tomatoes, mesclun salad mix, zucchini, baby corn, summer squash, cucumbers, lettuces, beets, carrots, pumpkins, gourds, and winter squash.  You can view a harvest schedule on the Garden of Eve website to learn more about what types of vegetables are available during the season.

The fruit share runs from June to Thanksgiving for 24 weeks. The season starts in June with strawberries, then follows with cherries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peaches, apricots, plums and pears in July and August. September through November bring mainly pears and apples. Fruits are very fresh and flavorful, and though not organic, they are grown on the farm next door to Garden of Eve using lots of compost and low-spray techniques.

The egg share runs from June to Thanksgiving for 24 weeks.  Members can choose to purchase a full egg share, which consists of a half-dozen eggs each week, or a half share, which consists of a half-dozen eggs every two weeks.  Eggs come from Garden of Eve's own pastured, free-range hens, which are fed no hormones or antibiotics.

The flower share runs from June to Halloween, for 22 weeks, and consists of a gorgeous bouquet of fresh-picked flowers, grown organically. Enjoy a different variety every week! Includes zinnias, snapdragons, sunflowers, gladiolas, black-eyed susans and much more.

CSA members can choose to purchase a full share or a half share of vegetables, fruit, eggs and flowers.  All members but purchase at least a half share of vegetables in order to participate in the CSA (so you couldn't only choose a fruit share, for example).  Full shares are picked up every week and half shares are every other week.  If you choose a half share, you will be notified whether you are to pick up on "A" weeks or "B" weeks.

Sweet Pea CSA also offers a Mega Combo Share, which consists of a full share of everything, and a Variety Pak, which is a half share of everything.  These combination shares are offered at a reduced price than their component parts.  Please visit the Join the CSA page for information on the prices for this season.
