SwaraRagaLaya is a unique team of talented young artists of Indian origin brought up in the United States. These artists have been trained in the traditional rendition of vocal and instrumental Carnatic music by local teachers as well as professional artists in India. They have a long repertoire of Kritis by several composers and have performed in several cities across the United States. They have also been part of multiple group performances rendered in different Music Sabhas during the music seasion in Chennai and Sri Rangam as well as the Tyagaraja Aradhana at Thiruvaiyaru.
While each of them is capable of rendering several Kritis on their own, there is a very simple reason why they prefer doing this as one unified team -- because they have fun!
