*All Guard Members will be scheduled into Band class for two blocks. There is a fee for band class. Please be prepared to pay this fee when you register for the fall. This class fee is separate from the above fees.

Winter Guard Fees (Does not include travel)

JV $150 Due in December/January (1-2 out of town competitions) - No further audition required

Monetary commitments for participation in the Varsity Winter Guard will be discussed as part of the audition process in November. Varsity members will be announced after auditions. 

Members of the 2008-2009  Color Guard are participating in Belks semi-annual charity sale on May the 2nd. Students have been given five tickets to sell and may get more if needed. Each student is required to sell $25 in tickets. Any money earned from tickets sold beyond this initial five will be credited to the student's individual account. Money is due Monday, May 4. Checks can be made out to Shades Valley High School and MUST have a phone number.

 We need four volunteers to work the sale on May 2 from 6am-10am. Two at the Pinnacle and two at the Galleria. Please contact Merri if you can work the sale. The student will recieve 15% of the money Belk donates to the program for each person working in her name. Students may work if accompanied by a working adult. This is a great fundraiser for the guard. The coupon will deduct $5 from the purchaser's first transaction.

We will be kicking off two fundraisers in the next couple of weeks: Candygrams for Valentine's Day and Coupon book sales. Please donate 2 bags of Valentine's candy by Friday, February 6 so that the girls can make the candygrams next week. Send them with your student, or you can drop them off to me on Saturday.  We will be taking orders everyday during lunch.

 

Varsity: Your second uniform payment is due Monday.

 

JV: Please pay off the remaining balance on your dues.
