Leopard 2 Tank
L
Leopard 2 inspired "blower" tank...  See David Drakes Hammers Slammers series or Steve Jackson Games GEV/Ogre
And the best one this morning!  A Leopard 2 coming over snowy hill ready to eat a T-72 for breakfast!

This is a hover tank concept that I envision every time I read Hammer's Slammers (the military SF of David Drake...).  I was using a reference of an M-60 Patton tank, and decided to turn the hull into a hover tank.  Considering that Mr. Drake was with the 11th ACR in Vietnam, and that they used the M-60 Patton...  I figure its pretty close to the authors intent for what Hammer's hover tanks would look like.  They are not super science anti-gravity vehicles by any means, they are just Ground Effects Vehicles (GEV) that use a cushion of air to lift them off the ground, but they are fusion powered!  You would need a good power source to lift 70-100 tons of metal off the ground...
