5th October 2007 - We took Ruby for her monthly checkup at the vets in the week.  She is now 5 months old and weights a hefty 11Kg!  We're taking her to obedience classes every Monday and Ringcraft classes on Tuesdays. 

25th July 2007 - Can't believe we've had Ruby for four weeks already!!  For the last two weeks she's been living with Katy's parents as we had a holiday booked for two weeks after picking her up.  The timing couldn't have been worse but it looks like the time away has done her real good.

We came back off holiday this week and Ruby is now 12 weeks old and has had all her injections. 

We took her to a local ring craft training class on Monday evening so she could socialise with different people and different dogs.  She was a little shy at first but within half an hour or so she was happy with everything.  It only took 15 minutes for one of the trainers to get her walking on the lead and she does that perfectly now.  We took her for her first walk in Eastham Woods last night which she loved.

25th June 2007 - Yesterday we picked up Ruby!  She is absolutety fantastic.  We were expecting a sleepless first night but we were very pleased when she slept all the way through till 6am, with only a few little yelps when we first put her to bed!  She has a little while to go with the toilet training but she surprised us both as she tends to pace around the backdoor when she needs to go!  Check the photo page for some new images.

19th June 2007 - In 5 days we'll be picking up our Sussex Spaniel puppy!  We still haven't decided on a name yet though, the breeder has called her Sage which we really like though we also are considering Ruby.
