Surrey Heath has a long and varied history.

The Surrey Heath Local History Club meets monthly, (September to July) , generally on the 2nd Wednesday of the month @ 7:30pm

The Club  also produces two Newsletters each year.

Members of the Club have published numerous pamphlets and books on many local history topics (see Publications link to left)

Wednesday 13th June

Royal Logistics Museum. 

A visit to the Royal Logistics Corps Museum at Deepcut at 7pm for a tour led by Andrew Robertshaw entitled ‘Not just blanket stackers’. This will include a visit to St Barbara's Church. Park by the side of the Museum. 

Numbers are needed in advance.

Wednesday 11th July

A visit to Gordon’s School, formerly the Gordon Boys’ Home established in 1887, to be told about the history and buildings of this national memorial to General Gordon. Meet [parking] in the central parade ground at 7pm.
