...those coming via new york JFK airport...delta/continental or any other..
this airport is really huge...

u would first go thru immigration as soon as u come out of ur flight. The immigration officers are really helpful and friendly people. It takes about 20-25 mins. u need to submit ur I-94 (white form) and customs form which u get in the flight alongwith ur I-20. they take ur fingerprints and a digital photo and sign ur I-20.

stay calm and proceed to the baggage section..collect your bags...u might need to wait for 20-25 mins..u can put them into carts....submit your customs form to the officer (he/she is also very friendly)..be confident/clear in ur answers if they ask u any..proceed to the transit (connecting flight) section...it will be towards your left..take the elevators to level 4..(u need to press the push button hard for it to open)...u would see all the domestic flights here...ask any officer and he will guide u to ur airline counter...u need to submit ur bags there...and collect ur connecting flight boarding pass...there are lot of outlets here to eat and njoy....proceed to your gate (ex A23)...and relax!

in case u run into any trouble...contact TSA officers/flight crew members on the airport or call an ISA committee member for help!

port of entry chicago!!..wait for the next tip!!

...those coming via chicago - ord airport....lufthnasa/air india i suppose
this airport is really terrific! lookout for a lincoln statue inside the airport its a replica of original one in washington!

u would first go thru immigration as soon as u come out of ur flight. The immigration officers are really helpful and friendly people. It takes about 20-25 mins. u need to submit ur I-94 (white form) and customs form which u get in the flight alongwith ur I-20. they take ur fingerprints and a digital photo and sign ur I-20.

stay calm and proceed to the baggage section..collect your bags...u might need to wait for 20-25 mins..u can put them into carts....submit your customs form to the officer (he/she is also very friendly)..be confident/clear in ur answers if they ask u any..

after submitting the customs form...submit your bags to officers outside...towards your right.... proceed thru the escalator to the frst floor to catch your air train...
(mostly your domestic airline would be United Airlines) if not ask at the staff where u submit your bags....u need to proceed to terminal 1 for UA flights...there would be annoucements in the air train which u need to listen....
once u get there...check your flight no on the display and the gate...ex F 15A....u need to see the sign where your gate no is...and proceed there.....ask an airline staff if u r confused.

u proceed towards security check this might take 15-20 mins...domestic airport is really crowded so u need to search for a place to sit....
You can go to your gate and relax till your boarding starts...njoy ur flight!

PS: atlanta should be the same...i have been to the airport but it was not a port of entry for me!....u need to catch air train to go to your terminal...air trains are located near the exit...look for sign on the boards!

#ISA tip 4

.....how about paying ur fees.....

u could carry a DD of 6.5k or 7k approx and pay it to the osu bursar office or u could simply wire transfer the fees to the osu bursar account anytime before september....but this would cost u 10$ extra......u could also bring tc's of the above amount and put them in your bank account once u open it here....there are two banks at the SU....SNB AND FCSU....rem to get ur passport while opening ur bank account....u could then give a webcheck of the above amount....or personally go an give a check at the bursar office.....
